Our Advent Journey Through Our Words: Weeks 1 & 2
Advent is here, and we are both in awe and expectant! Janet and Bridgett talk about why they chose their words, awe and expectancy; and how reading the Advent scriptures through the lens of those two words changed how God spoke to them. Janet also shares a story about how Advent journeys are still being manifested in our world today.

- Pray to the Holy Spirit
- Look at the words of Advent Word Cloud (<-- click for the words)
- Select one of the words, whichever word is placed on your heart by the Holy Spirit
- As you read or hear the readings for each week, look through the lens of this word and listen to God speaking to you. It may take a few times to read through the readings (Lectio Devina) to uncover what God is trying to share with you through your word.
- If nothing comes to you, offer a prayer of trust to God that He will reveal what needs to be revealed in His time.
- Do NOT be discouraged; God’s time is not our time, but He will always present Himself when the time is right.
